What can you do to raise awareness and encourage support of our vital ministry?

Host LCMS Campus Ministry Sunday. The day officially recognized for observing LCMS Campus Ministry is the Sunday after Thanksgiving each year; but your congregation can also pick opt for a date that suits your calendar! - Participate in LCMS Campus Ministry's annual fall BikeWalkRun-Athon. Individuals and groups invite friends and family to sponsor them as they bike, walk or run on behalf of their local campus ministries and our national LCMS Campus Ministry mission society. LCMS Campus Ministry is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by the IRS. - Host a "Senior Day" at your congregation. Recognize graduating high school seniors and their families with a special event—a picnic, a concert, a festival, a road trip to your nearby state park or camp, etc.—and officially "send" these seniors by (1) letting them know that they are continually in the thoughts and prayers of their faith family while they're away, and (2) commissioning them as witnesses of Jesus Christ to their campus communities. Share campus ministry opportunities with them.
- Link your high school youth ministry to LCMS Campus Ministry and to LCMS student ministries at colleges and universities near you. Promote StudentConnect and other LCMS Campus Ministry services and resources.
- Invite us for a visit! Contact us to visit you and learn why it's so important to support and grow campus ministries. Call 314-497-2400 or send us a note to make arrangements.
